Returning home

While it can be an exhilarating time once you complete your course, it’s also a time for thinking strategically of your next plans. In this way, it is a good idea to become an active member of the alumni and other clubs so you can have a support network of fellow graduates that you can share your experiences with online or on the phone. This helps you foster greater business opportunities as well social opportunities with friends and colleagues. In fact, many institutions run returning home seminars.

It will cover topics such as:

• resettling
• how to get your exam results
• making travel arrangements
• joining alumni associations  (i.e. an association of fellow graduates from your institution designed to provide support and network opportunities in your own country).
• preparing for your future career
