International Film School Sydney (IFSS)

We are pleased to  announce that The University of Wollongong’s wholly owned subsidiary, the ITC Group, is venturing into the world of film.                     

ITC operates UniAdvice, as well as owning and managing Wollongong College Australia andthe University of Wollongong in Dubai.                                   

As part of its expansion into specialised vocational education, ITC has now taken a controlling share in the International Film School Sydney (IFSS).               

ITC has also been contracted to undertake the marketing and student recruitment for the school.                                      

IFSS is an independent film school located in Rosebery, Sydney. Established in 2005, the school has a total enrolment of 55 students, of whom
more than 30 are international students.

IFSS enjoys a high  industry profile, and is a sponsor of the film festival Tropfest 2009.


The school offers a two-year Advanced Diploma in Screen
in the following specialisations:

• Writing/Directing/Producing,
• Cinematography           
• Editing
